Candi Werx was founded in November 2005 and is owned and operated by Juliene (Jules) Gauthier. Candi Werx started as a candy & novelty store offering delicious confections and candy also carrying Diabetic candy and chocolates, Certified Organics, Sugar-Free and Gluten-Free products.
Subsequently Jules has earned a chocolatier’s designation and now produces high quality, hand-tempered chocolates in the Candi Werx kitchen at 554 Concession Street. Employees are also encouraged to learn and aid in the chocolate production.
With the advent of the chocolate production came requests for hosting chocolate making parties. The parties have all been extremely successful and are becoming increasingly popular.
Candi Werx also has a liquor license. We like paring beer, wine and spirits with chocolate and confections. Specialty coffees are also available.
